Washington International University legally grants degrees to all students who meet the graduation requirements of the university. Degree programs are designed for the needs of a global student body and not for any one country or region. Graduates are employed by business, industry, international organizations, United Nations and governments around the world. HOW DO YOU TEACH?

You have already acquired core knowledge in your professional area from your work place. We give academic credit for your work experience, based on a system parallel to American Government's requirements for determining equivalency for a degree. We concentrate on new developments and trends in your field of study. Academic enrichment is provided through specialized books written in everyday English for students, for whom English is a second language, chosen by your professor and delivered to you by the university.

Our second objective is to increase your communication skills. As an adult, the art of putting ideas across effectively, articulately and in a short period of time is important for your advancement. Therefore, book reports and research papers are required instead of written exams as evidence of mastery of content.

After enrollment, a personal American professor will be assigned to you to guide your studies. You will be able to communicate with your professor at all times by email, fax and mail.
